If you are registering yourself and others, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on behalf of each participant you register, and that you have provided them, or will provide them, with a copy of the terms:
By voluntarily attending this event by Women in Apologetics (hereinafter “WIA”) and The Glade Church (hereinafter “TGC”), I agree, grant, and authorize WIA and TGC the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, and make use of any and all photos or videos taken to be used in and/or for any lawful purpose. This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats, and markets now known or later discovered. This authorization shall continue indefinitely. I waive the right to inspect or approve any finished product in which my likeness appears. I agree to this release of my likeness without being compensated. I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of photos or videos. I understand and agree that these materials shall become the property of WIA and IBC and will not be returned.
The WIA Conference is a “rain or shine” event. If the event occurs as scheduled, I understand that I cannot receive a refund if I am unable to attend. If weather or other acts of God prevent the conference from being held, I understand that WIA will make every effort to reschedule the event and transfer my registration. WIA will provide a refund if it cannot reschedule the conference.
This event will be livestreamed and recorded. All main sessions will be available via livestream for individuals/couples, small-group watch parties, and church streaming. WIA will also be selling the conference as a course in early 2028. The course will include all contracted conference presentations and relevant supporting materials. To ensure compliance with federal law and our church partner agreement, WIA cannot provide information about portions of the conference that were neither recorded nor included in the course bundle. This includes, but is not limited to, worship sessions, setlists, or details regarding song selection.
By registering for the 2027 WIA Conference, I and anyone I register will automatically be added to WIA’s email list. I understand that if I do not wish to remain on WIA’s email list, I or those I register are responsible for unsubscribing, using the link at the bottom of emails received, or by sending an unsubscribe request to office@womeninapologetics.com.
No unauthorized solicitation. Solicitation of any kind is not permitted unless you are an approved sponsor. You may not distribute brochures, business cards, advertisements, or other materials unless WIA and our church partner approve them in advance.
I am 18 years of age or older and competent to contract in my own name. I have read this release before signing below, and I fully understand its contents, meaning, and impact. I understand that I may ask specific questions about this release in writing before signing, or consult my own legal counsel, and I agree that not doing so will be interpreted as my free and informed acceptance of the terms of this release.
Updating registration contact information. If a registrant registers with an incorrect email address, they must notify the WIA events department at events@womeninapologetics.com as soon as they identify the error. This ensures we can promptly update the registration contact information in our system so we send any event updates to the correct address. We send event updates and final details to the email address you provide.
