WIA Conference Trip Planning

The conference location this year is near Nashville, TN! We recommend flying into the Nashville International Airport (BNA), which is less than 30 minutes from the conference location. If you are planning to get a rental car, the airport options will charge more but if you want to save some money, try booking a rental car in Mount Juliet or Lebanon, which are east of the airport and closer to the conference location. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area.

Recommended Hotels

The closest hotels to the conference location are in Mt. Juliet and Lebanon, but if hotels in those areas are booked, consider looking in Smyrna. The Music City Grand Prix is the same weekend as the WIA Conference and it's being held in Lebanon, TN, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. Please email events@womeninapologetics.com if you have any questions about recommended hotels.

Recommended Restaurants

There is no shortage of good food in the Nashville area, especially hot chicken and down-home cookin'. Below are a few restaurants we recommend with delicious food in the Nashville and Mount Juliet areas.

Recommended Activities

You know about Nashville but have you heard of Franklin, TN or been to Cummins Falls? The area offers plenty of things to do for any type of traveler: music lovers, nature enthusiasts, shoppers, and even escape gamers! Below are some activities we recommend near the conference area.

Why WIA Exists

Women should study apologetics because all Christians are commanded to be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is within them and to defend the claims of Christianity (1 Peter 3:15-16, Jude 1:3, and 2 Cor. 10:5).
