We believe in working together to accomplish God’s mission. In Matthew 9:35-38 Jesus told his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Volunteer with WIA and join the other laborers who are already helping us fulfill our mission. CURRENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS

We always need help in other areas so if one of the following roles does not suit you, please let us know your skill set or in what ways you can best assist WIA’s ministry. Thank you!

Graphic Designer – Designs and creates graphics to use on WIA social media platforms, publications, conference advertisements and merchandise to help create a consistent look and feel across platforms, based on the ministry’s logo and branding. Ensures that content and quality is consistent with the ministry’s mission, vision and values.

Graphic Design Assistant – Working under the supervision of the Graphic Designer, this role designs and creates graphics to use on WIA social media platforms, publications, conference advertisements, and merchandise to help create a consistent look and feel across platforms, based on the ministry’s logo and branding.

Social Media Content Creator – Researches, writes and edits content for social media posts, increasing awareness of our ministry within the community.

Video Editor/Producer – Designs, coordinates, directs, and shoots video material/content. Reviews audio and visual footage and uses computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit, including splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sounds or graphics, and watching the finished product to catch mistakes before submitting it for posting.

Communications Coordinator – Supports the Communications Department in executing and monitoring communications strategies. This role involves creating public relations and marketing materials such as press releases, blog posts, and newsletters.

Livestream Producer – Ensures the live stream video’s seamless production process. Uses technical expertise in the operation of audio and video equipment, as well as knowledge of bandwidth requirements for live streaming content.

Copywriter – Writes clear, concise copy for ads, announcements, and marketing materials. Works closely alongside web and graphic designers to ensure the message is consistent with the ministry’s mission, vision, and values and is coherent with the ministry’s branding strategies.

Copy Editor – Reviews and revises grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, syntax, content, accuracy, etc., for WIA newsletter articles, social media posts, ebooks, infographics, and other publications as necessary.

Podcast Editor – Plans, records, edits, and publishes ministry podcasts. Condenses episode content, creating a cohesive narrative throughout an episode, improves audio quality, and occasionally creates supplementary materials for the podcasts.

Chatbox Moderator – Promotes and monitors interaction among the members of the audience and the podcast hosts, answers questions and keeps conversations within appropriate thematic parameters, ensuring that participants behave with courtesy and respect.

Spanish Language Social Media Assistant – Manages social media platforms, providing updated and engaging information with the purpose of increasing awareness of our ministry within the Spanish-speaking community.
